A. Merante Contracting, Inc. was established in 1987 and has been performing commercial, public, city, and state projects.

For the first few years of business, the main source of work was residential concrete improvements and remodeling. In 1991, the company became incorporated and directed its focus on commercial and public work concentrating on concrete construction, underground utilities and excavation. In the mid 1990’s, A. Merante Contracting, Inc. became Penn DOT pre-qualified and expanded into performing road reconstruction, municipal streetscapes, slope stabilization and large site-work projects. A. Merante Contracting. Inc. is also licensed in Ohio and West Virginia and is pre-qualified with the WV DOT.

The company takes pride in its ability to self-perform the majority of its projects and deliver efficiency, control and competitive bids without compromising quality. The main keys to our company’s success are due to a strong work ethic, dedication and commitment to what we believe and love, accompanied with reinvesting in ourselves. The last thirty years we have been committed to this industry. We will continue to put forth our best effort to always improve our abilities and contributing towards public improvements and the people surrounding us.
